Another fashion website? Not really, we are an Online Concept Store

Another fashion website? Not really, we are an Online Concept Store

Knock knock… Hi there, we’re The Shopster. No, no, don’t click through, just hear us out, and then you may slam the door on us, promised!

Let’s just have a look at your closet. Loads of black (always a good option, we mean it), some nice basics (again, a wise choice), timid colour efforts here & there (it’s really the effort that counts) and then… these pieces you’re still wondering whether you bought them after a chardonnay marathon due to a traumatic family brunch, or if somehow that cute little shop had some laughing gas exude in the fitting room. Bottom line, by some unsolved mystery means, that piece of fashion has landed in your closet. Hey, we’ve all been there and who are we to judge, anyway?

But we’re digressing. Let’s go back to your closet and our future relationship. Let’s see if it’ll go anywhere. If your answers below lean toward a yes, we are a match made in heaven. If not, well don’t worry, we’ll just have to work on our relationship as much as the next couple. So, let’s start the game!

Is your closet a mix and not always a match?

  • Would you like to dare a new look, a special touch without necessarily splashing out on every item and without fearing to look like Halloween has taken control over your closet?
  • Do you think that fashion can also be a fun game, not always a big statement and that elegance can rub shoulders with edgy trends?
  • You’ve already covered the basics and now search for that axx-whipping accessory you know will make the difference at the office?

Look no more, The Shopster is your mirror, your website, and why? Because we’ve been there. Because we were working moms with little time and always searching to escape the dull office wear with a dash of audacity and elegance. Also, we wanted a bit of fun as well at home with relaxing fragrances and candles or nice piece of furniture that are a bit more comfortable and colourful than our grey sofa.

What The Shopster promises:

  • Colour, colour & colour, amen!
  • Fun, edgy fashion and design.
  • An honest price limit, because no, we’re not all millionaires.
  • The lifestyle that goes with all of the three above. The Shopster is an understandable & affordable Online Concept Store. Decoration, hotels, beauty, smart jewellery, books and many more that won’t demand you to sell an organ or take a third mortgage to enjoy some really good moments in life.

What the Shopster doesn’t promise:

  • We’d love to, but we can’t promise to have tested everything we offer. We wouldn’t want the husband to have a stroke.
  • We don’t deliver. You’ll be redirected to the official online shop.

 Happy surfing y’all!

The Shopster

Online Shopping Survey - January 2017

Online Shopping Survey - January 2017

Happy New Year, Happy 2017, Happy You!

And what would make a happier you than offering a service that we try very hard to be an actual reflection of your shopping cravings? So we’ve done our homework over the holidays and asked women what they wanted, searched for their shopping habits and requests.

So based on these we connected the dots and pledge to adapt our offer to your needs.

What really got our attention is the contradiction that lies within all of us. We all agree that true style lies within accessories, but we spend much more time shopping for clothes, when we actually rather would be sipping some wine with friends. It doesn’t sound right, does it?

We might not crack the latest mathematical enigma, but we did figure this one out for you. How many of you suddenly had a very clear idea of what they wanted and started to go up & down all shopping streets to search for it, only to return home and start again on the internet? How many hours have we all lost on that? And that’s when you already have an idea of what you want… imagine when you don’t… Isn’t that what online shopping is all about? Saving time for any of your good resolutions for 2017?

So that really bright pink scarf you searched for? We got it for you. That original clutch that’d go with your LBD and any other dress? That one too. Those pumps that would make everybody jealous? Yup, check. And that present for your man for Valentine’s Day? Yeah, we got that covered too… We could go on for hours like this, but it seems your friends are waiting for you for that glass of wine…

The Shopster offers you a selection of the highest quality basics and the most original accessories of the season. And when that shopping is done, we offer you also a selection of books and furniture.

The Shopster, the gift that keeps on giving.

Three bloggers with a twist

Three bloggers with a twist

Here at The Shopster we love bloggers and we’re all about different horizons. So whenever you want a refreshing change from the ultra modern slick urban fashion, why don’t you have a look at the following blogs? They each offer great fashion with a twist, whether it’s about life, milestones or nostalgia… Don’t hesitate to check them out!

  • At first, Victoria Magrath, the brain behind inthefrow.com, comes over as the typical girl you love to hate. She’s beautiful, beyond successful, has great taste & is only in her mid-twenties. However, thinking her blog is only about fantastic holidays & exquisite fashion would be a big mistake. Actually two big mistakes. Not only does she share thorough advice for your own fashion blog - honestly, who does that? -, she also addresses some serious issues. She’s an anti-bullying advocate, will push you to get your annual health checks, encourage you to get those braces you hate, give you that confidence boost… without ever loosing her genuinely sensitive touch. Victoria is like the popular girl who actually comes out in defence of everybody. And that’s how from being the girl you love to hate, she becomes the girl you just love to love.
  • Nicolette Mason http://www.nicolettemason.comWhen we first landed on her page, we totally had a girl crush. The woman just oozes strength, energy & positivity, all in all, good vibes. So what, she’s no size 0, nor is the vast majority of us. This certainly didn’t hold her back & all we can say is “amen girl”. Her posts always combine vavavoom fashion with a personal topic, whether it’s a struggle or a milestone in her life. She’s taking you with her on her journey, shows her flaws and gives you the key to evolve if you struggle with the same issues. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she has an eye for fashion – hello shoes & bags!!!!!! - , a flourishing career as a collaborator for magazines & two collections with Elle & Target. But even if the girl is on fire, she’s real. Period.
  • Our last pick for this post is Sarah Vickers’ blog: http://www.classygirlswearpearls.comThe girl might just be Jackie O’s secret granddaughter or Kate Middleton’s long lost twin sister, we wouldn’t be surprised. And we love it. Come on, what’s not to love in her Kate Spade sparkling pompom pink shoes? It makes us crave for Rosé Champagne. Her style could be described as Hamptons meets Cambridge meets Dawson’s creek. Her fashion choices are preppy and a perfect inspiration for all your weekend looks. She even makes us want to move to the countryside. Special mention to Bennie, the too-cute-for-words puppy. I don’t want to wait for our lives to be over… Sorry!
