Three bloggers with a twist

Three bloggers with a twist

Here at The Shopster we love bloggers and we’re all about different horizons. So whenever you want a refreshing change from the ultra modern slick urban fashion, why don’t you have a look at the following blogs? They each offer great fashion with a twist, whether it’s about life, milestones or nostalgia… Don’t hesitate to check them out!

  • At first, Victoria Magrath, the brain behind inthefrow.com, comes over as the typical girl you love to hate. She’s beautiful, beyond successful, has great taste & is only in her mid-twenties. However, thinking her blog is only about fantastic holidays & exquisite fashion would be a big mistake. Actually two big mistakes. Not only does she share thorough advice for your own fashion blog - honestly, who does that? -, she also addresses some serious issues. She’s an anti-bullying advocate, will push you to get your annual health checks, encourage you to get those braces you hate, give you that confidence boost… without ever loosing her genuinely sensitive touch. Victoria is like the popular girl who actually comes out in defence of everybody. And that’s how from being the girl you love to hate, she becomes the girl you just love to love.
  • Nicolette Mason http://www.nicolettemason.comWhen we first landed on her page, we totally had a girl crush. The woman just oozes strength, energy & positivity, all in all, good vibes. So what, she’s no size 0, nor is the vast majority of us. This certainly didn’t hold her back & all we can say is “amen girl”. Her posts always combine vavavoom fashion with a personal topic, whether it’s a struggle or a milestone in her life. She’s taking you with her on her journey, shows her flaws and gives you the key to evolve if you struggle with the same issues. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she has an eye for fashion – hello shoes & bags!!!!!! - , a flourishing career as a collaborator for magazines & two collections with Elle & Target. But even if the girl is on fire, she’s real. Period.
  • Our last pick for this post is Sarah Vickers’ blog: http://www.classygirlswearpearls.comThe girl might just be Jackie O’s secret granddaughter or Kate Middleton’s long lost twin sister, we wouldn’t be surprised. And we love it. Come on, what’s not to love in her Kate Spade sparkling pompom pink shoes? It makes us crave for Rosé Champagne. Her style could be described as Hamptons meets Cambridge meets Dawson’s creek. Her fashion choices are preppy and a perfect inspiration for all your weekend looks. She even makes us want to move to the countryside. Special mention to Bennie, the too-cute-for-words puppy. I don’t want to wait for our lives to be over… Sorry!
